Canard Drones is one of the three Spanish technology companies, invited by AENA to the ICAO Innovation Fair, held in Montreal between September 22nd and 23rd. CANARD presents its solutions, already developed, that offer an enormous advantage in the inspection, calibration and certification of visual and radio aids for airports.
The set of solutions proposed and developed by CANARD greatly simplifies the tasks of certification, inspection and maintenance of visual and radio aids systems, which are of high importance for air operations. The ease of use of these solutions and their great accessibility are fully in line with ICAO’s “No Country is Left Behind” philosophy. Last, but not least, they increase and will continue to increase the operation efficiency and security of many airports, especially those in remote and poorly communicated areas.
AENA is already using CANARD’s solution in several of the airports of the Spanish national network. CANARD is certified to carry out specialized activities in controlled airspaces, including day&night operations with the different air traffic service providers in Spain. Being able to operate in one of the countries with the most restrictive legislation in this regard is a real achievement and a recognition to the operational deployment of our solution and procedures in terms of coordination and safety.
